Property inventory template for Geneva: fill in and print
Property inventory report to fill in
Enter the property details and tick its rooms: the template assembles a complete report, item by item, to print or to take along to the appointment.
Tick the rooms of your property and generate a complete inventory report, to print or to take along to the appointment, for move-in as for move-out.
How do you fill in the inventory report?
The report is filled in on the spot, room by room, before the keys are handed over, noting each defect on the line of the item concerned.
- Tick the rooms of the property, generate the document, then print it or keep it to hand during the appointment.
- Describe precisely: "20 cm scratch on the living-room parquet" carries weight, "wear" carries none.
- Read the meters and count the keys handed over, badges and remote controls included.
- Sign in two copies: each party keeps their own, and an observation entered before signing counts as a reservation.
What is this document worth?
Signed by both parties, the inventory report is authoritative evidence of the condition of the home on the date of the inspection and serves as the reference for the move-out settlement.
Chargeable defects, normal wear and tear, notice deadlines and disputes are covered in detail in the guide to the property inventory report in Geneva.
